Here's what most people don't understand about decision-making: Your nervous system doesn't care about logic.

It doesn't care that you've done the research, read the reviews, or consulted three business coaches.

All it cares about is: "Will this decision keep me safe?"

And if you've ever made a decision that didn't work out the way you hoped - if you've ever been criticized, disappointed, or hurt by a choice you made - your nervous system remembers.

It will do everything in its power to keep you from experiencing that pain again. Even if it means keeping you stuck.

The Real Cost of a Dysregulated Nervous System

When your nervous system is running the show, you're not making decisions from your inner authority - you're making them from fear.

This shows up as:

  • Endless research and information gathering

  • Seeking everyone's opinion (then feeling more confused)

  • Analysis paralysis

  • Making decisions quickly just to avoid discomfort, then immediately regretting them

  • Physical symptoms: tight chest, stomach knots, racing heart

And the exhausting part? Even small decisions start to feel overwhelming when your nervous system is maxed out.

The Integration: Nervous System + Human Design Authority

In this week's episode, I teach you how to regulate your nervous system BEFORE accessing your Human Design Authority.

Because here's the truth: you can't hear your Emotional Authority's wisdom when you're in panic mode. You can't feel your Sacral's "uh-huh" or "unh-uh" when your body is clenched in fear.

Regulation creates the internal space you need to access your wisdom.

Try This: The STOP Technique

Before making any decision this week, practice this simple 4-step technique:

S - Stop what you're doing
T - Take 3 deep breaths (4 counts in, 6 counts out)
O - Observe your body sensations without judgment
P - Proceed from a calmer place

That's it. No fancy equipment. No complicated protocols. Just a pause to let your nervous system know: "We're safe. We can handle this."

Your Nervous System Isn't the Enemy

I want you to know this: your nervous system isn't sabotaging you on purpose. It's trying to protect you.

But protection and growth can't happen at the same time.

Regulation is how you tell your body, "Thank you for trying to keep me safe. But I'm choosing growth now."
